Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how FlixHub ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

FlixHub is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to provide the best experience:

Search Queries: When you search for content, your search term is sent to our servers to process results. We may log anonymized search data to improve our service.
Device Information: Basic device information (OS version, device model) may be collected for analytics and crash reporting via Firebase.
App Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage data such as feature usage frequency, app open counts, and crash reports are collected through Firebase Analytics to improve app stability.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, a device token is stored to deliver push notifications about app updates.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
We do not require user registration or account creation.
We do not collect payment or financial information.
We do not track your browsing history outside the App.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data we collect is used solely for:

Processing your search requests and returning relevant results.
Improving app performance, stability, and user experience.
Sending push notifications about important app updates (if opted-in).
Identifying and fixing crashes and bugs.

4. Third-Party Services

FlixHub uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google): For analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and remote configuration. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
TMDB API: For retrieving movie metadata, posters, and information. No personal data is sent to TMDB.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your watchlist, download history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
We do not maintain user accounts or databases of personal information.
All network communications use HTTPS encryption.

6. Content & External Links

FlixHub is a search engine that aggregates publicly available links from third-party sources on the internet. We do not host, upload, or store any media content on our servers. When you access external links, those third-party websites have their own privacy policies and practices that are beyond our control.

7. Children's Privacy

FlixHub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Rights

You can clear all locally stored data (watchlist, history, preferences) by clearing the app data or uninstalling the App.
You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings.
You can stop all data collection by simply uninstalling the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
